A Friend Like You

Inspired by the frequent friends that land in my trees that sing their beautiful song. Aotearoa’s Tūī are so special and unique, the spirit they carry and their magical song makes you feel as if you’re living within a sanctuary. Capturing that soul is what I loved about painting them, sat on the beautiful branches of the Kōwhai tree. Bringing a little bit of that magic inside to your home and walls.
